I love the Hard Rock Memorabilia site. It is a great, original way to look at pieces of Memorabilia. However at times it can be like trying to find a needle in a haystack if you are trying to find a particular piece of memorabilia. Without looking at each individual item you have no way of knowing what is in the collection. So I thought I would share with you several ways of finding out what is in that haystack.
1: Each piece of memorabilia within the memorabilia site is indexed by Google. This means you can perform a site search using the site: syntax within google to find all pages within the google index. Try searching for “site:memorabilia.hardrock.com”.
2: the above method is great at exposing everything within the index but what if you want to find pieces of Memorabilia by your favourite artist? No problem. Just use use the site: syntax and add your search terms to the end to filter by site then keyword, For example to find items by The Clash search for “site:memorabilia.hardrock.com the clash”
3: Why leave the site and go to Google. Memorabilia items are indexed by HardRock.com’s own internal search engine
